ABSTRACT
The Mahabharata is the world's longest epic, both in terms of length and scope. Draupadi is the heroine of the epic. Draupadi is an iconic character in the Mahabharata. Speaking of her bravery, many consider Draupadi to be an embryonic feminist. She was a couple of decades ahead of her time. Her whole strength as a woman was evidenced by her ability to handle her position competently and with understanding. Draupadi is a prominent figure in world literature because of her boldness and combative demeanour. This was due to the fact that she was not only the Pandavas' wife, but also a passionate feminist. Draupadi was the daughter of Drupad, King of Panchal, and the wife and queen of the five heroic Pandavas, she was known for her beauty as well as her tenacity. She was volcanic, and she turned her opponents to ashes and was popularly known as Yagnaseni. This vindictive princess was also sympathetic and generous. Draupadi had gained the fortitude to face life's challenges. She had taken the conscious decision not to harm the good people or to surrender to evil. Despite the fact that Draupadi was a woman, her persistence won her the same renown as the courageous Pandavas. Throughout the Mahabharata, she exhibits this element of her nature on various occasions. The gaming incident is one such example and is also discussed in detail with relation to ethics, in which she boldly defends her rights in the face of countless elders and wise men in the gambling hall. When Yudhishthira bet on her and lost in a dice game, she spoke out for herself when being disrobed by Duhsasana while all the elders of Hastinapur remained quiet. Draupadi was a courageous princess from this Hindu epic. One who was tenacious and with a powerful will. Draupadi, the epic's fiery heroine, has remained a fascinating woman with depth. Thunder and lightning defined her personality. This exceptional lady is on par with Arjuna or Bheema or any other powerful men in terms of strength and spirit, valour and morality. Her tale is one of sorrow and humiliation, yet she handled it all with elegance and triumphed against each of the perpetrators of her shame and agony.
