ABSTRACT
Today's society is completely reliant on technology. The world has adopted technology significantly in the last few decades since it helps to boost productivity and efficiency. Information is being shared and exchanged between private individuals and enterprises. Concerns about data privacy and protection have grown simultaneously as technology use has expanded across all industries as hackers have turned to trickier ways to violate data privacy.
Despite the widespread notion that hackers only target big firms and businesses, all firms are susceptible. As a result, it is imperative that both individuals and owners of all types of businesses protect their data from falling into the hands of attackers and all kind of misuse.
Risks are less visible in the realm of online information, but it is also exceedingly challenging to estimate the potential for data misuse. Making these adjustments makes it more difficult to thoroughly evaluate our difficulties or what must be done to safeguard our personal information. To avoid the effects of exposed personal and corporate data, understanding the risks to our digital information and what data privacy involves becomes necessary.
