ABSTRACT
Cooperative federalism is an approach in federal systems where central and regional governments work collaboratively to achieve shared goals, ensuring both national unity and regional autonomy. This paper explores the concept of cooperative federalism, its principles, and its mechanisms, highlighting how it differs from other federal structures. Through case studies, the paper demonstrates cooperative federalism's effectiveness in addressing complex challenges that require joint efforts, such as public health and disaster management. It also examines the challenges and benefits associated with cooperative federalism, concluding with suggestions for strengthening intergovernmental cooperation. This study aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of cooperative federalism's role in modern governance.
