ABSTRACT
Sexual offenses against women are a serious and widespread social problem that have an impact on people's lives and communities all over the world. This abstract explores the complex nature of these transgressions by looking at their frequency, underlying causes, and effects on survivors. This study offers a thorough review of the diverse types of sexual violence faced by women in various circumstances, including but not limited to rape, sexual assault, harassment, and exploitation, by synthesizing available research and data.
This abstract also examines the intricate interactions between institutional, social, cultural, and economic elements that support and worsen the incidence of sexual assaults against women. It draws attention to how power dynamics, gender inequality, patriarchal norms, and structural flaws contribute to the commission and continuation of these crimes. Moreover, it underscores the significance of intersectionality in comprehending the ways in which gender intersects with race, ethnicity, class, sexual orientation, and disability to influence women's experiences of sexual violence.
This abstract addresses tactics and interventions for prevention, assistance, and justice for survivors, as well as the difficulties and obstacles in resolving sexual offenses against women. It talks about the significance of all- encompassing education, activism, legislative frameworks that support survivors' rights, demolish negative stereotypes, and policy changes. the pressing need for societal change and group effort in order to successfully address sexual assaults against women. It demands an all-encompassing strategy that tackles the underlying causes of gender-based violence, advances gender equality, and cultivates a climate of dignity, consent, and empowerment for people of all genders.
