Trademark And Its Relevance In Pharmaceutical Industry

ABSTRACT

The pharmaceutical industry is extremely important to the Indian economy, greatly boosting its GDP and creating job opportunities. Protecting intellectual property rights, particularly trademarks, has become a top priority for pharmaceutical businesses as innovation and competition have increased. The industry is seriously threatened by trademark infringement because it can harm consumer perception of a brand, limit funding for research and development, and jeopardise patient safety. This article explores the importance of trademark in pharmaceutical Industry and also the judicial trends regarding trademark infringement cases in this Industry.
