The Red Violence

ABSTRACT

Domestic violence is one of the most serious health problems in India. It is not restricted towards Women but also towards Children, Men and other Genders. It can be classified into various branches of Abuse and violence which is just not limited towards Women. The Research focus on the aspect of the domestic violence in India where the Socialism and Secularism holds in the preamble. The NFHS [ THE NATIONAL FAMILY HEALTH SURVEY] and the distressing number was 29.3% married Indian women between the ages of 18 - 49 years of spouse have faced domestic violence or sexual violence/ abuse. The prevalence of Domestic Violence in India is very high.
