ABSTRACT

Forensic science is the most crucial component of any criminal investigation because it allows police to identify suspects and determine when and how a crime happened. Because the term "forensic" implies "about the law," forensic science logically entails the application of scientific concepts to legal inquiries. As a result, forensic science evaluates the evidence collected by police officers and detectives and produces a complete report on their findings. It aids in determining the ideal evidence which held the suspect guilty in criminal law. Forensic science covers a wide range of topics, including DNA analysis, fingerprinting, autopsies, pathology, toxicology, and other techniques that aid in determining the cause of death and the identity of the suspect.
