Abstract

Living in a nation that went from under-developed to a developing country one concern that hasn’t been in the limelight is ‘menstruation’ commonly known as periods. The society has never considered to speak about the needs of a menstrual leave and the very topic has been looked down on by not just men but also women. When eminent beings came up with a menstrual bill it did not gain a lot of support. The only reason being that it would be a biased decision or not every woman out there requires something like a menstrual leave. A very few organizations have given importance to the requirement of a menstrual leave and we must support such decisions. Every female is built different and we will further see the importance of such a bill and how law plays a vital role in highlighting the significance of menstruation and the desideratum of being educated about it by our surroundings.
