The Lockdown Of Human Rights Amid Covid-19

ABSTRACT

Novel COVID-19, which is a public health emergency is affecting the exercise the human rights in many ways. Some category especially affected by COVID-19 due to the measures taken by the legislature to handle the pandemic. Measures that suspend some human freedoms by proclaiming a state of emergency should be particular. The government cannot suspend every human right to tackle COVID-19. Human rights are the right of all human beings, irrespective of their nationality, gender, language, color, religion, ethnicity, or any other grounds. These rights are considered natural and widespread. Human rights are often expressed and guaranteed by law, in the form of declarations, covenants, and customary law. Attempt to foreground dimensions of justice, violation of human rights, and constitutionalism that need to guide state practice. This article begins that during the nationwide lockdown the Indian government is compelled to guarantee insurance to its people under public common freedom law and investigates its disappointments in doing likewise in the previous few months.
