ABSTRACT

The journey for the hunt for Fortune as depicted throughout the Paulo Coelho’s novel “The Alchemist” is the focus of this research. The notion of human fate is defined by existentialists as “self-transcendence”. The research focuses on something like a metaphysical undertaking well within the system that Santiago, the book’s lead character, ractices. The chauvinistic view of the whole civilization of the human beings, is based on the concept that humanity was established in the Divine’s image. As a result, human life will be pursued and eventually lead to one’s purpose in a collaborative bond. The existence of the protagonist, Santiago demonstrates how the author, Paulo Coelho envisions the human being’s desire to achieve the prosperity of his dreams.
