The History And Governance Of The Immigration Laws In The UK

ABSTRACT


This research paper is written in context to critically examine the history and governance of various immigration laws in the United Kingdom, also exploring the various reasons that necessitated the enactment of these legislation during the nation’s history. It will also, examine the socio- political tensions and challenges in world politics that shaped these legislations. This study will also address the issue of asylum seekers, analysing their condition in relation to the provisions outlined within immigration law. As we delve into the understanding of the topic, we will also investigate the current immigration reforms that were shaped during the 21st century, particularly how these reforms impacted the social fabric of being in present times. Ultimately, this paper aims to provide a comprehensive analysis of the intersection between immigration policy, national security, and the broader societal consequences of these legal frameworks.
