ABSTRACT
The Firm is one of the most well-known novels. The Firm is John Grisham's second novel, published by Random House on February 1, 1991. This novel is a legal thriller with 432 pages and 41 chapters. The Firm was written by John Grisham. He explored The Firm, which became a blockbuster and established him as the genre's king. The story of Mitchell Y McDeere, an intelligent but impoverished man, is told in The Firm. He recently graduated from Harvard University and aspires to be a tax lawyer. He comes from a broken family with a crazy mother. Aside from that, his only family member is his criminal brother. Mitchell Y McDeere is portrayed as an ambitious man who aspires to be wealthy and successful. He receives calls from many big corporations as a result of his intellectual ability. Bendini Lambert and Locke, a small but successful law firm, has also posted a job opening. He feels secure because of the money and gifts bestowed upon him, and he decides to join the firm. Regrettably, the firm is a criminal enterprise. The story of this novel is alluring because it tells about a lawyer's real life. The reader gains knowledge and information that is detailed and packed with legal information especially for aspiring lawyers. Mitchell Y McDeere, the main character in John Grisham's novel, is a new attorney. He is brimming with ideals and ethics. Mitch, on the other hand, is torn between morals. On the one hand, the company where he works expects him to be loyal. Aside from that, the entire story is worth discussing. This theory emphasises or underpins the relationship between the literary work and among the aspiring lawyers of the society in which it appears.
