Vanshita Vijh, Department of Law, BBA LLB, Prestige Institute of Management and Research

ABSTRACT

Exploring India's history provides insight into the position and influence of changes on women under various civilizations and empires, particularly in ancient and mediaeval India. Demonstrating how the arrival of new empires and Hindu literature contributed to the decline of women's rights. While India has made tremendous progress in enacting laws to protect women, effective implementation remains a key concern. This is obvious in the distinct economic growth paths of men and women. Victims of violence may or may not exhibit physical trauma following such incidents, but there is usually some mental trauma left as a sign of their presence. This essay discusses how these legislative reforms have impacted our culture.
