ABSTRACT
Poverty is something from which no country is spared even after taking desirable measures to eradicate, nations across the world are not able to eradicate poverty. India is well aware that poverty is the biggest barrier in its development. So, this paper in general talks about the poverty and the law.
This paper talks about how the law see poor people and why poor people are always more prone to committing crime and why they are always considered the victims of crime. In conclusion, the measures to accelerate their legal empowerment are discussed.
