ABSTRACT

There is a requirement for a greater corpus of information that appropriately assesses consequences for kids and teenagers of "gay and lesbian parents" provided the sociological, political, and cultural split on the subject of same- gender parenthood. Furthermore, emphasis must be granted to the veracity of the notion that parent abilities are only gender-exclusive because kids require indeed a father and a mother. The aim of the present research paper is to quantitatively synthesize the literature on the impact of parents' gender or sexuality on their kid's childhood and adolescent results. The parent-child connection and child gender role behaviour outcomes showed several noteworthy findings in the results. The parent's gender or sexual orientation had no bearing on the other outcomes, which included the child's sexual orientation, cognitive skills, psychological adjustment, or gender identity. Future research implications are highlighted.
