ABSTRACT

This research paper aims to examine the concept of secularism within the context of religious places in India. India has a long history of religious coexistence as a diverse and multicultural nation. However, the implementation of secular principles in religious spaces has been a subject of debate and controversy. This research investigates the challenges and opportunities associated with maintaining secularism in religious places, the legal framework governing these spaces, and the role of various stakeholders. This study provides insights into the complexities of secularism in religious places in India through a comprehensive analysis.
