Scope Of Interference Of Courts In Government Tender

ABSTRACT

The article provides a brief overview on the concept of the scope of interference of courts in government tender, whereby it defines the government tender. Further it also discusses about administrative discretion government exercises with respect to such tender matters. It elucidates upon the process of awarding tender and also how any bidder be eliminated or disqualified from tender. It also highlights few pivotal judicial pronouncements whereby different courts have reiterated the authority of government upon such tender matters. The main objective of the research is to highlight the concept, procedure, importance and scope of government tender and the jurisdiction of the courts to interfere in such tender related matters.
