Scope Of Artificial Intelligence In Criminal Justice System With Reference To India

ABSTRACT

The work aims to find improved and extensive ways to boost, broaden and vest Forensic Science Techniques in all its branches by using current science and technologies and also employing the new, latest and upcoming technologies, such as Artificial Intelligence (AI) in India. Our main intention and the aspiration of performing this research is to know the present scope of artificial intelligence and how AI could be successfully applied to achieve excellent results in Criminal Justice System that not only detect crimes but also to predict crimes to prevent them before it happens. By the way, various studies have shown that crimes can be predicted. We just need to be able to filter out large amounts of data to get useful legal patterns. These types of developments weren’t there in the past but now we can expect that to happen in the near future. Further, to achieve the objective of this research paper we need to assess the relevancy of artificial intelligence with reference to Criminal Justice in India. The research paper will be dealing with the introduction of Artificial Intelligence (AI), the Applicability of AI in law relating to Forensic Science and Criminal Justice System. Further, the paper deals with the introduction of Artificial Intelligence in Criminal Justice Systems around the world. In addition, it will also include details about the introduction of artificial intelligence in Indian Criminal Justice System. Moreover, the paper will talk about the collaboration of AI with the Criminal Justice System in India along with its scope in future.
