ABSTRACT


Now-a-days there is a increase in environmental concerns such as climate change, pollution and resource depletion. So it is essential for us to shift towards sustainability to protect the environment. In this Green technology plays a pivotal role. In inventing the environmentally safe technologies. However there is widespread in adoption of this technologies but they face numerous challenges because of heavy cost on research and development, legal barriers and there is a difficult regulatory mechanism. So this research paper explores the role of promoting patents in the realm of green technology. So patents play a pivitol role in promoting the development, adoption and dissemination of green technology. Through a comprehensive analysis, this paper explains about how patents incentive innovation, attracts investments, facilitates technology transfer and the mechanism involved in licensing in green technology and even it focuses on the interplay between patents and competition law. And lastly it emphasizes the importance of policymakers, inventors and stakeholders to prioritize the protection of patents and cultivate a supportive environment for the innovation of green technology. As it is very important for driving forward sustainable development and inventing more environmental friendly technology for the future generation.
