ABSTRACT


The research paper is about Mediation and it’s growing importance in resolving the Family and Matrimonial, labor, and Industrial disputes. Mediation has been preferred by the Indian Judiciary over the litigation because of its certain benefits like less cheap than the litigation costs, confidential process etc. Moreover, it involves less investment of resources like time and money which saves the quality time of the parties.


This study is a content analysis of various case laws and illustrations related to the subject. I have given a detailed description of Mediation and its role played in resolving the conflicts amicably.
