INTRODUCTION
By overturning one of the most celebrated trials in American constitutional history, the Supreme Court of the United States has put at risk numerous American citizenship rights.[1]About an year ago, Texas Heartbeat Act sparked global outrage over its conservative approach to abortion rights, but on June 24 another stepping stone was established to deprive women of their physical autonomy and reproductive rights with the overturning of the landmark decision of the US Supreme Court (SCOTUS) in Roe v. Wade (1973).[2]This SCOTUS decision will no doubt have deep consequences on millions of American women, as states are now free to enact laws banning abortion, directly or indirectly. The overturning of the historic ruling came at a time when women's rights are threatened around the world. The immediate result is that 26 US states are preparing to ban abortion in the coming years, with 13 states enacting a "trigger ban" that will take effect shortly after the decision is issued
