ABSTRACT

Electronic business or e-business is any kind of procedure that a business organization does over a network mediated by computers. E-business has transformed how external and internal stakeholders communicate within a company, and it has the potential to increase profitability while providing a competitive advantage.Trust is one of the most crucial elements that affects the success of an e-business. Gaining the trust of a customer depends on a variety of factors. The attraction of the website, the product or service providing, branding, the caliber of the service, and trusted seals are a few variables that relate to winning the trust of the client. In reality, there are various ways to look at trust, including in terms of transactions, informational content, products, technology, and institutional context. The way -corporations approach designing, creating, and deploying web-based applications has been significantly impacted. Although web services might be a development in the architecture of disturbed systems, they are not without issues. Hence, stress must be on the issue that is related to the security when it comes to the web-services of the electronic business. This paper discusses the issues that arise in e-business, such as security issues, and analyzes why customer trust is so important in e-business. It also examines what could be done to build and maintain customer trust.
