ABSTRACT


By means of this research paper, the author has attempted to analyze the present scenario of physical education by taking into consideration its past versions and future utilities. The author has tried to emphasize the need to translate the right to physical education in the Indian context into reality. The author has delved into the legal, socioeconomic etc. aspects of physical education, focussing on its significance, criticized the loopholes present in the public education system in India concerning it and suggested possible changes.
