Right To Be Forgotten: An Analysis

ABSTRACT


Right to be Forgotten or the Right to Erasure, is a right which is gaining international importance, wherein an individual has the right to request that their personal information be removed or deleted from online platforms, search engines, and databases. Through this research article the author has traced the origin of this right and also addresses the ethical and moral implications the exercise of this right brings about. The author also analyses this right in relation to other important rights, while also focusing on the downsides of the Right to be Forgotten.
