ABSTRACT:

The provision of legal services including those of arbitrators in Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) processes is being revolutionized by artificial intelligence (AI). The coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic is speeding up this tendency, with numerous arguments taking place online. Legal responsibilities were traditionally performed by human lawyers; however, shortly, arbitrators in alternative dispute resolution (ADR) processes may be replaced by increasingly autonomous computer systems. The arrival of Artificial Intelligence (AI) into the legal system, has deeply impacted the Indian Dispute resolution. Therefore, the objective of this article is to study the current situation of the Alternative Dispute Mechanism in India. Here, we will find out about the impact of AI on this mechanism and also evaluate the difficulties involved in it.
