ABSTRACT

The digital age's technological advancements have numerous benefits, but they have also given rise to new issues, like cybercrimes that target women and children. Cybercrimes, which are offenses committed through computer networks or digital devices, can have a significant negative impact on the safety, privacy, and well-being of vulnerable populations, particularly women and children. The research's primary goal is to analyze the numerous cybercrimes that are committed against women and children as well as to offer opinions on potential solutions for ending these crimes. For the study, where data was gathered through questionnaires, 210 respondents were selected as the sample size. A convenient sampling strategy was used, and the samples were chosen based on accessibility and convenience. According to the research, those who are aware that there have been an alarming number of cybercrimes against women and children in recent years also support the various sorts of cybercrimes against women and children. The government must take measures that are stricter and more stringent than those it is already taking, and the public must also be made more aware of the penalties so that cybercrime can be stopped and also the people must be made more aware of the consequences so that they could safeguard themselves from the threat of cyber crimes.
