Introduction
Every individual in this world has a right to have an adequate standard of living, an ecosystem where he can adequately look after himself and his family, and such an ecosystem is inclusive of fair arrangements for proper fooding, housing, and healthcare facilities. Human rights play a pivotal role in the public health sector for advocating the cause of creating a universal framework that works towards the mission of achieving dignity for all. Moreover, there has been a paradigm shift in the international laws addressing the threats to health which provides advancement of health-related right-based approaches rather than being left at the helms of governmental and administrative benevolence. There is a worldwide increase in the cause for the promotion, protection, and realization of human rights. It also focuses on the fact that an obligation is imposed on the government for creating a structure that ensures such objectives. Human rightslaw is now understood to be central to public health policies, programs, and practices. It is crucial to recognize the role of the International human rights standards in the public healthsector for the past seven decades in framing health concerns within the legal backdrop, recognizing essential principles into policy debates, and expediting responsibility for accomplishing the highest achievable standard of health.
