ABSTRACT:

This paper delves into the constitutional provisions and legal framework in India aimed at safeguarding the interests of investors. Investors play a pivotal role in the economic development of a nation, and it is imperative to ensure their protection against any potential exploitation or malpractices. Through an analysis of relevant constitutional provisions, legislative enactments, and judicial pronouncements, this paper aims to highlight the mechanisms in place for investor protection in India. It examines the fundamental rights, directive principles, and statutory regulations that collectively contribute to fostering a conducive environment for investment and ensuring investor confidence.
