ABSTRACT
The rapid expansion of digital technologies has fundamentally altered childhood experiences, offering both opportunities and challenges. While digital platforms enhance learning and connectivity, they also expose children to risks such as cyberbullying, privacy violations, and online exploitation. This article examines the intersection of children’s rights and the digital domain, highlighting the legal hurdles in safeguarding young users. It analyzes existing legal frameworks, evaluates their efficacy, and identifies gaps in protection. Furthermore, the article proposes forward- looking solutions to create a secure, inclusive, and child-friendly digital environment. By focusing on a multi-dimensional approach to policy- making, the discussion underscores the imperative of collective action to uphold the rights and well-being of children in the digital age.
