ABSTRACT
Recently, the Government of India passes a bill1 to increase the age of females for marriage from 18 years to 21 years. Government held many reasons to pass the bill including the health of woman who get pregnant in early age also includes to reduce the rates of maternal mortality rate and infant mortality rate and to curb the problem of child marriage from India. If the bill implemented properly it is an important and necessary step towards women empowerment, which is worthy of praise. The present study intended to focus on the thorough analysis of bill passed the facts ,data and information in the paper are being collected from different journals, books ,news and present legal framework the paper uses different facts, authorities, incidents, arguments, survey and data to analysis the proposed bill by the government. The paper includes a detailed analysis of bill, constitutional aspect, survey and all the aspects of bill elaborating its positive and negative aspects. The paper concludes that proper implementation of the bill can bring a great change in society but government must make strict laws to curb the issue of child marriage and government must aware the people about the bill and its effects.
