Prejudice Of Same-Sex Marriages In India

Jaspreet Kaur, Advocate, Punjab and Haryana High Court

ABSTRACT

Same-sex Marriage is the practice between two same men or same women. Although homosexual marriages has been regulated through law, regulations, and customs in most countries of the world and criminalized on the other. As Hon’ble Supreme Court of India held that same-sex marriage is unconstitutional and not legally recognized. This paper will analyze the prejudice of same-sex marriages in India, and their theological views and also, the negative effects of the same sexual orientation couples. In my viewpoint, actual people who suffer in society are the queer and transgender, not the same-sex populace.
