PM Cares Fund Is A State Fund

ABSTRACT

The PM CARES FUND is known as the (Prime Minister’s Citizens Assistance and Relief in Emergency Situations Fund) is registered as public charitable trust and managed by a board of trustee. The Prime minister Narendra Modi had setup up fund in time of the distress, in order the assist and facilitate the needs for the citizens who are in dire need of help due to pandemic.

The Prime Minister, Prime minister office and the cabinet ministers are the named in the trust deed published by PM CARES FUND official website. At first, the author would be explaining about the fund structure and trust deed in the paper. Then, the author would proceed this paper by explaining about the various Irregularities and problems which are unnecessarily created by the Union government and problems lying around it. So, this paper would limit itself on PM CARES FUND, PMNRF and irregularities in it. Further this paper would explain about many similarities that are existing between PM CARES AND PMNRF, both the funds which already lacks the transparency as well as there are many others issues related to it and then author be would explaining case law of PM national relief fund and various other judgments in order to validate the about the claim on the PM CARES FUND. In the end of the paper, after analysing various provisions from different Acts the author would be providing his own viewpoints on the PM CARES FUND and be concluding whether the provisions have been followed or not.
