Pillars Of Administrative Law: Barrier To Constitutional Dictatorship

Sanskar Singh, School of Law Justice and Governance, Gautam Buddha University

ABSTRACT

This research paper explores the fundamental role of administrative law as a barrier to constitutional dictatorship. By analysing the core pillars of administrative law—rule of law, judicial review, separation of powers, and accountability—this study highlights how these principles safeguard democratic governance and protect individual rights. Through a historical lens, the paper examines the evolution of administrative law and its response to the challenges posed by constitutional dictatorships, where legal frameworks are manipulated to undermine democratic institutions.
