ABSTRACT

“Never assume anything unless otherwise stated”

The concept of equality itself is biased. If the country is drafting a law, it should not only ensure that it is fair to women, it should also make certain with unfair to men. On justice for all and equal treatment under the law, which must be the backbone for the entire manhood and the society. The act which is created in the British period is as same with certain amendments but neither the act nor the amendments are fair to men. The notion of women’s empowerment is way ahead of time and now it's time to amend the law which brings the actual meaning for equality. The idea of women empowerment has been there for a very long time because of dowry deaths, rape, sexual harassment, lack of education, unemployment, etc. However, some of these issues have also been faced by men, although, not in a large way as women, but even men are facing harassment around the world.

This research paper contains the presence and functioning of biased laws. The method of viewing equality in a different way that brings fairness to both men and women in the country.
