ABSTRACT
Unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), commonly known as drones, have emerged as versatile tools with significant applications in various sectors, including commerce, agriculture, photography, and surveillance. As the adoption of drones continues to grow rapidly in India, it becomes imperative to evaluate the regulatory landscape surrounding their use. This research paper aims to assess the current drone laws in India, analyse their implications, and discuss potential future developments in the regulatory framework. By exploring the challenges and opportunities associated with drone legislation, this study provides insights into how India can harness the full potential of drones while ensuring safety, security, and privacy. This research paper aims to provide a comprehensive analysis of the regulatory landscape governing drones in India, taking into account the current state of affairs, challenges, and future implications. It is expected that the findings of this study will help policymakers, regulators, and industry stakeholders to make informed decisions, facilitate the growth of the drone industry, and ensure the safe and responsible integration of drones into Indian airspace.
