Mob Lynching: Just A Crime?

Krishnav Koukham Gogoi, Symbiosis Law School, Nagpur

ABSTRACT The grail behind this study is to probe into the unabated felony of Mob Lynching which has become a new normal in India. This paper makes an effort to study the existing unfastened laws related to mob lynching or parallel to it and emphasis on the need of a proper set of codified rules and regulations against this evil. To deliver a broader perspective to my readers rather than classifying it as ‘just a crime’ among numerous others in this terrestrial terrain, I am annexing to this paper, the prevailing psychology or neuroscience behind a lynching.
