ABSTRACT
This paper speaks about the need for mediation in today’s world. This research paper examines how the incorporation of Mediation will complement the current setup of the Judicial System and not replace. Furthermore, it discusses the lacunae’s associated with the Mediation Bill pending before the Parliament by comparing it with the Mediation Frameworks prevailing in the Western and Asian Countries. The paper urges the policymakers to fill the loopholes present so that they can adapt to the different contexts and quickly dissipate the disputes.
