Marking Differences Between Abortion Laws In US And India

ABSTRACT

In recent times, there has been lot of controversy around the topic of abortion rights given to women. The question of whether the abortion should be permitted or not and if permitted then to what extent it should be permitted has caused uncertainty in public. The recent US Court Judgement which overturned the historic judgement of “Roe v. Wade1” has further brought this socio-legal topic in the limelight. This article has been written to analyse the difference in situation surrounding aborting rights existing in US and India.
