ABSTRACT

“Malefaction and atrocities against women and girl child”, a research article that posits the issues and challenges that retrospect the status of women and girl child which mirrors the social, economic, and political development of not just our country but a global challenge where women and girl face a life cycle of violence from their inception to old age with varying degrees of prevalence and forms due to male chauvinism that is deeply engraved in the society. The research refines the role of the judiciary and the role of the government of India that focused to combat the offences and crimes against women and girl children in India.
