Loving Without Boundaries: The Struggle For Same-Sex Marriage Equality On An International Level

ABSTRACT

The authors of this article strive to offer an overview of rules relating to same-sex couples (marriages and partnerships) from the dimension of private international law in numerous countries, with a special section devoted to the situation in India. In a few phrases, we'll go over the legalisation and registration of same-sex marriage, as well as the registration of a partnership. Following that, the scope and elements of the application of international regulatory aspects relating to same-sex marriage or partnerships will be discussed, with an exploration of the applicable principles relating to same-sex partnership registration and recognition on an international level concerning private individuals and their rights and duties.
