Law Of Jurisprudence On Condonation Of Delay

ABSTRACT

This present study extensively discusses the various principles enunciated by the Honorable Supreme Court and the High Courts from the 1960s to the 2010s regarding the applicability of section 5 of the Limitation Act, which deals in detail the delay condonation aspects. This paper sincerely attempts to analyze the various judicial pronouncements laid down by the Honorable Supreme Court in regard to the various factors in the context of the applications praying for condonation of delay in terms of section 5 of the Limitation Act, 1963.
