ABSTRACT
The 'intention to contract' is a significant component that demonstrates the parties' willingness to accept the legal implications of entering into an agreement .This paper makes comparative study of ‘intention to contract’ in both English as well as Indian law . It further investigates how ‘Intention to contract’ is used in various matters such as family agreements, social agreements and commercial agreements. Various case laws are discussed altogether to give better idea about this.
