The internet has revolutionized how we create, share, and consume content, making it easier to distribute information globally. However, it has also led to widespread issues such as piracy, counterfeiting, and unauthorized use of creative works. This article explores the complexities of IPR in the online world, shedding light on its impact on creators, businesses, and consumers. It delves into the legal frameworks, including international treaties and national laws, that attempt to safeguard intellectual property in cyberspace. Despite these efforts, gaps in enforcement and technological loopholes continue to undermine protection mechanisms.
