ABSTRACT

In the digital age, Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) have become more crucial than ever yet enforcing them in cyberspace presents significant challenges. The internet has revolutionized how we create, share, and consume content, making it easier to distribute information globally. However, it has also led to widespread issues such as piracy, counterfeiting, and unauthorized use of creative works. This article explores the complexities of IPR in the online world, shedding light on its impact on creators, businesses, and consumers. It delves into the legal frameworks, including international treaties and national laws, that attempt to safeguard intellectual property in cyberspace. Despite these efforts, gaps in enforcement and technological loopholes continue to undermine protection mechanisms. The article further examines the need for stronger, globally coordinated policies and technological advancements to address evolving digital threats. As cyberspace continues to grow, finding a balance between protecting innovation and maintaining free access to information remains a critical challenge.
