ABSTRACT


In the digital age, virtual market has become a dominant force in the global economy, reshaping industries and influencing market power dynamics. This paper deals with the profound impact of e-commerce, blockchain and emerging technologies on market dynamics, consumer behavior and the global economy. Through the analysis of virtual marketplaces, decentralized finances, and the influence of data-driven decision making, this paper tends to highlight the evolving nature of market power in the digital era. Through this paper we will also look back towards the emerging principles of competition law and its origin It also covers the importance of adaptability and innovation for businesses and individuals. It also describes convenience and choice offered by virtual market to consumers while presenting new challenges for businesses and regulators and the role of CCI in regulating and restoring market competition by preventing corporations from engaging in anti-competitive behaviors as after the covid-19 this whole digital market has got a total boast in the industry which also created a huge challenge for CCI to protect the end users from abuse of dominance.
