Man is a social animal. He can adjust in the society with the assistance of his fellow beings. The adjustment involves itself in various fields, that is, economic, social and the political. These adjustments imply in the co- ordination and co-operation. Everybody sought the assistance of the society which would be rendered by it through its agency like religion, custom, and so on. Violence and vandalism are prevailing everywhere for the domination and enjoying power. The social evils like casteism, racialism, hunger for power, corruption, white collar crime, religious fundamentalism, gulf between rich and poor make the society vulnerable. Only the philosophy of humanism can protect the society from the onslaught of these social evils. Humanity is only the way to bring the unfortunate people up to achieve the social goals. The idea of humanism is to be adopted by all forms of governments and all agencies of the societies. Humanism is the only panacea to cure the ills of the society. Right from the ancient to the modern days the man relied upon the idea of humanism which can make him to adjust with the society. The economic balance, social equality, political unity democratic tendencies and confering rights can be brought only by the idea of humanism. The Hindu philosophy, Jain and Buddhist philosophy and even Christian and Islamic religious principles are based on the idea of humanism. Not only the religions but the governments and the Constitutions are forced to accept the idea of humanism to achieve, social, political and economic goals as pointed out by the Constituent Assembly which has been set up to draft a Constitution.
