Human Rights Violations: Yemen Civil War

Jatin Kumar, BA LLB (Hons), Graphic Era Hill University, Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India

ABSTRACT

This article aims to provide a comprehensive analysis of the various factors that led to the civil war in Yemen, as well as the foreign powers' role in it. Yemen is one of the world's most impoverished nations. In 1970, the ruling system of the country was broken down due to the Arab Socialist Movement. It resulted in the creation of two separate nations, South Yemen and North Yemen. In 1990, both of these countries were eventually united under the leadership of Ali Saleh.
