Human Rights Perspective On Labour Laws On Children

ABSTRACT


It is the dream of every parent to provide all the basic amenities and other essentials their children’s demand. Schools are considered as the first social institution which the child indulges in. Schools provide them with the knowledge, skills and other basic guidance of how to act in a society and succeed in life. But what if a scenario occurs where the child in deprived of all of it? Child Labor is one such instance which hinders various rights of the child. There have been be various reasons associated with it. However, it leads to violation of various rights of the Child. This paper deals with ‘Who a child is and the rights he holds. It would also give the reader an insight to the necessity of stringent laws to eradicate the same.
