How Would The Essence Of Technology And AI Enhance Access To Information & Promote Good Governance?

Aditya Premraj, Symbiosis Law School, Pune

ABSTRACT

The Right to Information (RTI) laws are essential to enact on a global scale to ensure that governments are transparent and accountable. However, putting RTI laws into effect can be challenging, particularly in countries where the population is enormous, resources are scarce, and there is a significant volume of requests for information. Current technological advances have resulted in the creation of new tools and solutions that can improve the efficiency with which RTI requirements are applied. This research article aims to study that the use of technology may significantly improve the application of RTI laws by streamlining processes, expanding access to information, and making government organisations more efficient.
