ABSTRACT
This research paper tries to analyse the Hindenburg-Adani row in light of the securities regulations and relevant provisions of law. Various allegations raised by the report is addressed in detail followed by the proceeding that took place in the Supreme Court of India. This report bring to limelight the need for regular update in the law so as to prevent this exploitation. Flaws in our current legal system is identified and the authors have tried to incorporate few suggestions so as to have a better legal framework. As this matter is before the honorable supreme court and there is SEBI investigation going on the authors have restrained from coming to conclusion as to whether Adani Enterprises are liable or not.
