ABSTRACT
The 21st century has ushered in unprecedented advancements in globalization, creating a complex landscape for the protection and promotion of human rights. As economic integration, technological progress, and transnational interactions intensify, human rights face both new challenges and opportunities. This article explores how globalization has influenced the evolution of human rights frameworks, examining key legal developments, political dynamics, and social transformations. By analysing contemporary trends, the article addresses the tension between state sovereignty and international human rights norms. It highlights the role of global institutions, transnational corporations, and civil society in advancing human rights while also shedding light on challenges such as economic inequalities, cultural conflicts, and digital surveillance. The study emphasizes the need for stronger legal frameworks that balance economic growth with the protection of individual freedoms, ensuring that human dignity remains at the heart of global governance.
